Clay Cove Membership
Have you fallen in love with clay? Wish you could create on your own schedule? Want the freedom to work at your own pace? Our Clay Cove Membership offers the ability to continue your journey with pottery. Our membership offers you access to the clay cove during business hours (unless a class is being offered) where your creativity can flourish. We fire at cone 6 and 06. We use Locally made clay by Rovin Ceramics out of Ann Arbor. Please note: This is not intended to be a production studio membership. If you are looking to produce high volumes, we recommend seeking a private or production studio.
Wheels
You will have use of our Lockerbie wheels. If you are looking for a more physical experience while throwing you can use the kick wheel option or more of an easy laid back approach your welcome to use the motor assist.
Personal Shelf Space
Can’t finish your project in one visit? With the membership you will have a designated shelf space to store your project while you work on them.
Clay and Glaze
You will be able to purchase Rovin RO-14, which is an all purpose mid-range light stoneware clay to work with in the studio. You will have the option of firing at cone 06 or cone 6. We also have a selection of glazes for you to use.
How to join
We require all members to take our introduction to clay series. This is a 4 sessions class that will teach you hand building techniques, wheel throwing, as well make sure you are familiar with the tools, clean up, and procedures of the Clay Cove. Once the series is completed, you will be welcome to come in and build anytime you would like.
There is a 3 month commitment.

What is the cost?
The Clay Cove membership is $99 a month with a 3 month commitment. You are required to take the introduction to clay series before you can join. This insures you are familiar with the tools and space. The introduction to clay series is $200. You are welcome to sigh up on our website under upcoming events.
